List

Make a list of things that seem important to me right now, at this moment in my life (not shooting for the big abstractions or poster material here):

1. Managing to work ideas and moments out in poetic form

2. Using the blog as a composing tool for that--a bit of a rigid yet high wire/visible composing tol

3. Using humor and metaphor to resolve tension and resolve challenges

4. Getting out and talking...avoiding hunkering down in my office

5. Trying to be as frank and open and simple as possible--not complexifying or shielding ideas or cloaking the truth

6. Trying to be upbeat, positive, excited--seeing the whole picture

7. Trying to live a full life

8. Trying to become a leader -- how does one transform ones self into being a leader? Can that even be done?

9. Learning to listen on a deeper level

10. Trying to hold on to as many ideas and possibilities in mind as possible, and be receptive to as many new ideas as possible, without closing down

11. Finding creative solutions to vexing situations

12. Being playful

13. Enjoying and valuing the ride, the process, the challenge
